Toaster oven : ウィキペディア英語版
Toaster

A toaster is a small appliance designed to toast multiple types of bread products. Invented in Scotland in 1893 and continually developed since then, the most common household toasting appliances are now the pop-up toaster and the toaster oven.
Pop-up toasters make toast from bread in 1 to 3 minutes by using heat elements. Since the 2000s, pop-up toasters with wider slots have been manufactured, enabling these toasters to toast bagels cut in half. Toaster ovens have heat elements above and below a grilling area and function the same as a small-scale conventional oven. They are large enough to heat up such things as a slice of pizza or a burrito.
==History==

Before the development of the electric toaster, sliced bread was toasted by placing it in a metal frame or on a long-handled toasting-fork and holding it near a fire or over a kitchen grill. Simple utensils for toasting bread over open flames appeared in the early 19th century.
The first electric bread toaster was invented by Alan MacMasters in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1893.
